LGD's Civilized Leisure Hour is three and half hour journey maestro'd by BUSS. Joining him for Trillium's prime moment to get civil is LGD homies chuckwayne, Snubluck, Enron Hubbard, Connie Hawkins and Tennis Hoodman (performing as the ever-luxurious LUXXY YOU).  Here are some recent sounds from this cadre of left field future hop enthusiasts.  Be SURE to stop through and keep it CFL for life beotch.

With only two weeks remaining until the first note of Trillium Connect Music Festival sounds out, 507 is stoked to present our next Trillium Connect Artist Spotlight: The Werks.
Considering that I had not heard of The Werks before spotting them at the top of the artist line-up for Trillium Connect, I must say they are going to be a welcome addition to the celebration.  The four-piece ensemble creates good ol' jamband rock n' roll whose stylings are a perfect fit for Trillium.  The Werks are performing a two-hour set on Saturday...sure to be a great time.

Among the exquisite array of artistry featured at the inaugural Trillium Connect is one of the finest downtempo producers of our time: Emancipator.

Emancipator is slotted to perform Saturday night at midnight (check the full schedule here), between homegrown heroes Skytree and Profresher, and is sure to be a highlight for many of the attendees--507 definitely among them.  Here is a 15 minute video of Emancipator performing at The Big Up in 2010.  Can't wait to see ya'll shiny, shimmering souls swaying to his grooves...look for 507, stage-right, nodding and slipping into an uneartly realm.

Kicking off this week's posts from 507projex's Trillium Connect Artist Spotlight is Random Rab.  Rab is performing in Minneapolis this Friday with Bluetech (an official Trillium Pre-Party), so be sure to check that show out if you're in the area (see ya there).  Random Rab is originally from Minnesota and has been performing a lot in the area lately, which is awesome because the more people that hear his sound the better our world will become.  That is not a joke, Rab's art weighs on the ethereal, inspirational side of electronic music and by its very nature is a force of world peace.  With tunes ranging from chilled out ambient head nodders to full-on hyphy dance-til-the-sun-rises anthems, Rab has something for everyone.

507 has nothing but love for Sovereign Sect, everyone's favorite livetronica quartet from Fargo.  Makers of sounds spanning the entire dubstep/glitch/lazer bass/idm universe, these guys have continually stepped up their game and are always ready for a dance party throwdown--whether that be in a barn, a warehouse, club or festie!  Check the "Sovereign Sect on 507projex" link below for the complete list of 507's coverage of Sovereign Sect over the years (30 posts since this thang started? Dayum!).

What's up 507 Nation!  I'm breaking the hiatus to let ya'll know about Trillium Connect, the best new festie in the Midwestie which is less than a month away.  Taking place at the largest disc golf course in the nation (possibly world?), this four-day music festival kicks off May 17th and will last throughout that weekend in northern Wisconsin.  Headliners include Emancipator, Random Rab, Phutureprimitive, Papadosio (and many, many more), as well as today's artist spotlight: Bluetech.
