MartyParty to Paint Minneapolis Purple

MartyParty (Martin Folb) makes his debut performance in Minneapolis September 16th at the Barfly/Loft, brought to you by Twin Cities Dubstep. Marty played in Minneapolis in 2009 along with Ooah as the audio-girlfriend-fondling act, PANTyRAID, but this is his first solo performance in the area.
MartyParty is renown for ushering the “purple opera” sound into the electronic music scene. If you haven’t heard of the purple sub-genre of dubstep, it is a lush synth/bass-heavy experience that pushes the music into higher realms of emotional and spiritual climates than typically addressed by artists.
