Who posts a video of a song, cuts it off, and picks up somewhere else in another song? That's like opening a book mid-book, mid-chapter and reading a page. Or walking into a theater to watch a minute in the middle of a film. Let's see the whole story. You're cheating people.
Lotus throws down hard.
@Guy: Sorry you felt cheated because there isn't a full song to watch on the Lotus video. The problem is, at North Coast my camera's battery was not working, so I had about 40 minutes of battery power for the entire festival (that's why there were only a few videos from the festival). I didn't have enough juice to sit there and record an entire Lotus track, so instead I captured snippets here and there. In the end, you get a 6+ minute video of Lotus and you can get a taste for how the show was. (Also, in my experience, most artists do NOT want long-form videos of their live performances online, and instead of making them figure out how to ask me to remove the video (or just having them flag as inappropriate) I have stuck to making short-form vids.)
The rest of the video I did get from Lotus was not usable. It was the first day of the festival and I happened to be in an area where a lot of friends I hadn't seen for some time were congregating, so their chatter interfered with the audio on stage. It is disheartening that you feel cheated by our (compared with the rest of North Coast, extensive) coverage of Lotus. Lotus throws down hard, indeed, and 507projex did our best with the circumstances at hand to exhibit that for our readership.
