Let's Get it Poppin' in the Twin Cities

At long last, the California trio that defined the glitch/glitch-hop genre for modern electronic music tastebuds is coming to Minneapolis...ladies and gentleman, The Glitch Mob (rolling out the sound system).

Coming off a short break after their first European tour, Boreta, edIT and Ooah will make their debut performance in the Land of 10,000 Lakes this Friday (Aug. 20) at the historic First Avenue, accompanied by Marty Party (can we safely assume a PANTyRAID session? TGM's first show in Minneapolis comes at pivotal time in their careers.  Riding off of the success of 2008's  Crush Mode, the boys have played shows and festivals across the world all the while honing and perfecting their craft.  The result is 2010's Drink the Sea, a graduated take on what future music is and what it is capable of expressing through traditional and digital instruments alike.
