Grab Bassnectar's Timestretch NOW!
Can't wait until March 30th to pick up the full version of Bassnectar's new album, Timestretch? Neither could we, so we stopped by Beatport (and you should too) to pick up the exclusive EP available there, complete with eight sweltering tracks and remixes, for ourselves--and it's a good thing we are antsy for new bass music. This material is headslamming debonkery (yes, that's not a word...yet). Here's a blurb from the master of bass music himself about the EP:
To coincide with the tour, we have a brand new 5-track EP for you, set for release on March 3o. It’s called the “Timestretch EP” and it is mostly banging melt-your-face-off music. There really isn’t a lot of the pretty, deeper stuff that i usually enjoy putting on albums; instead it is heavy, hard-hitting, and designed to CRUSH on our April run of shows.
Designed to CRUSH, indeed. These tracks soar out of the speaker as if a medieval torturer. Except that instead of being concerned with pummeling you to the brink of death, this guy's aim is to desecrate the very sanctity of what you epitomize as bass music. The Timestretch EP has been in heavy rotation around 507projex, with @rtn claiming to have already played it over 3030 times. If planning to see Bassnectar on his upcoming spring Timestretch tour, purchase these tracks in order to best prepare your defenses for the audio slaughter that awaits your dancing shoes. Or should I say, combat bass boots. So, so good.
