A Kraddy Glitch in the Minneapolis System
Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 7:17AM On October 9th, 2009, a serious glitch wreaked bassy-dance-chaos on the Minneapolis nightlife system matrix. The event has been linked to the presence of one Kraddy, an apparent Californian with a knack for slaying crowds and bringing the hyphy to the masses...507projex has uncovered exclusive footage of the aural nightmare and Kraddy was epic enough to share his thoughts on some questions we had for him, check it out:
507projex: How was playing for the Minnesota Massive for the first time (10.9.09)?
Kraddy: Playing for the Minnesota Massive was dope! The energy was great!! The people there were amped and I was excited to be playing for a crowd that hadn't seen me play before.
507projex: Do you see any influence of glitch/dubstep/blap music in the hip-hop/rap industry, or any trend toward such influence?
Kraddy: Actually I do. I've heard a few pop style hip hop tunes that have hip hop vocals over them. I don't know if it was a licensed remix or a bedroom mashup. I like to crossover and most of my set is custom mashup or hip hop vocals and dub step tracks.
507projex: Favorite Ableton audio effect is?
Kraddy: The Beat Repeat is indispensable for the live show. I use the Simple Delay with a very short delay for that metallic sound.
507projex: What are your plans for the rest of the year and 2010?
Kraddy: Good question. I just finished a remix for Echaskech that they will be releasing in November. And I'm finishing another heavy remix for Mochipet. I've been playing live instruments and mixing them into my newest tracks and these two remixes are an example of that new style.

This winter Equinox Records will be releasing a remix EP of my Android Porn track. It will include remixes by Si Begg, Akira Kiteshi, Lorn, Milanese, Mochipet, Geste, Playpad Circus and Fulgeance. The tracks for that are great.
